The Zelus GBS series GBS12/170B.B. battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery using gel electrolyte technology. By mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume to form a fixed gel electrolyte, it fundamentally solves the common problems of electrolyte evaporation, overflow, and the resulting corrosion in traditional flooded batteries. This gel technology not only enhances the physical stability of the battery but also endows it with excellent environmental adaptability, enabling better resistance to the effects of extreme temperatures, shocks, and vibrations.Its valve-controlled regulation system can safely discharge the internally generated gas, and replacing antimony in traditional lead plates with calcium significantly reduces the battery's gas evolution tendency while maintaining an excellent mechanical structure.
This battery has a core specification of 12V overall voltage and a nominal capacity of 170Ah (C100 rate). Its design fully considers long-term reliability and deep cycle performance.
