The GBS12/225B.B. battery is a high-performance product in the Zelus GBS series, which adopts valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) technology with gelled electrolyte. By mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume, the electrolyte forms a stable gel state and is completely immobilized. This GEL technology fundamentally solves the common problems of electrolyte evaporation and leakage in traditional flooded batteries, prevents the corrosion caused by these issues, and significantly enhances the battery's tolerance to extreme temperatures, shocks, and vibrations. Its valve regulation system can safely discharge the internal gas generated.Compared with traditional wet batteries (non-sealed), the GBS series replaces antimony with calcium in the lead plates. This design significantly reduces the battery's gas evolution tendency while maintaining excellent mechanical performance.
The battery has a nominal voltage of 12V, a capacity of up to 225Ah (based on C100 discharge rate), and weighs approximately 67.5kg (148.8lbs). Its compact design has dimensions of 522mm in length, 240mm in width, and 216mm in height, with a total height of 219.5mm, offering flexible installation options for horizontal and vertical placement.
