Product details
B.B. Battery HRL40-12 (F Type) is a compact and reliable 12V valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery. Its shell is made of sturdy impact-resistant ABS plastic, ensuring stable protection in various environments. The battery cover and shell are combined through a firm connection technology, and the terminal area is specially sealed to effectively prevent acid leakage. Its terminals are designed to provide two types: B7 and optional I2, to adapt to different installation requirements.
In the production process, the electrolyte is filled through six special holes on the battery cover. After filling is complete, these holes will be fitted with pressure relief valves made of non-combustible materials. This design greatly enhances the battery's fire and explosion safety levels, ensuring safe and reliable use. Inside the battery, both the positive and negative plates are coated with specially formulated pasty active materials. Combined with the Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, efficient gas recombination is achieved, making the battery truly maintenance-free throughout its entire lifespan, without the need for water addition.
HRL40-12 is optimally designed for high-rate discharge applications. In short-term discharge modes of 5 to 15 minutes, its power density is 30% higher than traditional BP series batteries, capable of providing excellent discharge power ranging from 132 to 5205 watts per unit. This allows it to deliver strong power in a short time, making it very suitable for scenarios with demanding instantaneous power requirements. The battery supports both horizontal and vertical installation methods (excluding inversion), providing great flexibility for the internal space layout of the device.
Regarding performance and lifespan, this battery performs exceptionally well. Its standard capacity is 38 Ah (10-hour rate), and it also offers capacity options at various discharge rates from C2 to C100 to meet different load requirements. The battery has an extremely low monthly self-discharge rate of less than 3%, meaning it can retain most of its charge even after long-term storage.Under normal float charge usage conditions, its expected lifespan is as long as 12 years, meeting Eurobat's definition of a long-life battery and providing users with long-term stable power supply.
With these technical parameters and functional advantages, HRL40-12 has become an ideal power solution for many key fields. It is widely used in medium and low-power uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, data centers, power grids, and infrastructure in the power industry, providing reliable backup power for emergency lighting, security monitoring, and access control systems. In medical equipment, wheelchairs, and various electronic medical instruments, its safety and maintenance-free characteristics are highly favored. In addition, it is also an excellent choice for renewable energy systems such as energy storage units for solar and wind power generation. Furthermore, its stable power supply can be seen in auxiliary power sources for electric vehicles, golf carts, lawn mowers, emergency starting power supplies, as well as commercial venues such as oil and gas extraction sites, rural estates, hotels, and stores. For applications requiring backup time of 60 minutes or less, HRL40-12 (F Type) is a proven high-performance choice.
