The BPS65-12 battery is a 12V integral sealed lead-acid battery from the BPS series of B.B. Battery's VRLA batteries, with a nominal capacity of 65Ah (based on a 20-hour rate discharge to a termination voltage of 1.75V per cell). This battery uses a sturdy, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic case, with the battery cover firmly connected to the case to ensure complete sealing of the terminal area, effectively preventing electrolyte leakage. The battery cover is designed with six filling holes for electrolyte injection during production, and then a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials is installed, providing a high level of fire and explosion safety for the battery, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring high safety standards.
In terms of internal structure, the positive and negative plates of the BPS65-12 battery are both coated with a special paste-like layer, and advanced Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology is adopted. This technology enables efficient internal gas recombination, allowing the battery to require no water refilling maintenance throughout its entire service life, truly achieving maintenance-free operation. Meanwhile, its extremely low self-discharge rate, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, significantly extends storage time. Another major feature of the battery is its installation flexibility: except for the prohibition of upside-down use, it can be installed horizontally or vertically, and is equipped with a handle for easy handling and installation.From the technical parameters, the nominal capacity of BPS65-12 at a 20-hour rate is 65Ah, and at 10-hour and 5-hour rates are 61.75Ah and 55.25Ah respectively, providing a reference for system designs with different discharge requirements. Its internal resistance is only 5 mΩ (at full charge), supporting a maximum discharge current of up to 650 A (for 5 seconds) and a maximum charging current of 19.5 A. The battery has a wide operating temperature range: 0°C to 40°C for charging, -20°C to 50°C for discharging, and storage temperature of -20°C to 40°C, adapting to various environmental conditions.
