Product details
The GB12/41 B.B. battery is a high-performance valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery in the Zelus GB series, adopting advanced gel battery technology. This technology mixes sulfuric acid with silicon powder to form a gel-like and immobile electrolyte. This unique gel electrolyte design almost completely eliminates the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow issues of traditional flooded batteries, thus effectively avoiding the corrosion problems caused by them. Meanwhile, this battery exhibits stronger environmental adaptability, can withstand extreme temperatures, shocks, and vibrations excellently, ensuring stable power supply under various harsh conditions. As a deep-cycle lead-acid battery, GB12/41 is designed to provide maximum capacity and excellent discharge cycle performance. Its nominal voltage is 12 volts, with a nominal capacity of 41 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 38 Ah at the 10-hour rate. The battery adopts solid lead coating technology combined with gel electrolyte, endowing it with excellent deep-discharge capability and a long service life. Under normal operating conditions, its design life can reach 12 years or complete up to 2500 deep cycles, meeting the definition standard of long-life batteries by Eurobat.
This battery has a sturdy physical structure, with dimensions of 197 mm (length) × 165 mm (width) × 171 mm (height) and a total weight of approximately 16.1 kg.It is equipped with standard I2-type terminals and offers flexible installation, allowing safe placement in horizontal or vertical positions, which facilitates system integration. Its enhanced durability and heavy-duty deep-cycle capability make it particularly suitable for applications requiring a continuous and reliable power supply. Meanwhile, the battery exhibits excellent high-temperature stability and high mechanical strength, with extremely low acid displacement. The built-in patented safety valve can precisely control internal pressure, further ensuring safety and extending the overall service life of the battery.
B.B. batteries of the GB series are an ideal power source for numerous critical and daily applications. It is highly suitable for uninterruptible power supply systems, fire and safety alarm systems, emergency lighting, and monitoring systems. It can provide reliable power support for telecommunication facilities, medical equipment, as well as street lighting and traffic signal systems. In addition, it is also widely used in golf carts, floor cleaning equipment, and energy storage systems for renewable energy such as solar and wind energy, meeting the long-lasting power needs in various scenarios from industrial to civil use.
