Zelus GB series is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery using gel electrolyte technology. The core lies in mixing sulfuric acid with silica ash to form a stable, immobile gel-like substance. This GEL battery design almost completely eliminates the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow issues of traditional flooded batteries, thus avoiding the corrosion risks caused by them. At the same time, it demonstrates stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, impacts, and vibrations.The gas is safely discharged through the valve adjustment system, and combined with the process of replacing antimony in lead plates with calcium, the battery retains excellent mechanical properties while significantly reducing the gas evolution rate and improving overall stability.
Taking the model GB12/6.5B.B. as an example, this 12V battery has a nominal capacity of 6.5Ah at the 20-hour rate and 6.1Ah at the 10-hour rate, with a weight of approximately 2.45 kilograms. Its compact size design measures 151mm in length, 65mm in width, 93mm in height, and 98mm in overall height, supporting multiple installation methods including horizontal and vertical, providing flexibility for system integration. Standard T2 type terminals are available as an option.
