Product details
BPL95-12 is a 12V valve - regulated sealed lead - acid battery from the BPL series of B.B. Battery, with a nominal capacity of 95Ah (20 - hour rate). This battery features a sturdy, opaque, impact - resistant ABS plastic shell. The battery cover is firmly connected to the shell and sealed, ensuring no free acid leakage, making it a truly leak - proof battery. Its top terminal design is easy to connect. Depending on the series and type, the standard terminal type is B3, with a terminal position of 15, and the I2 terminal type is also available to meet different installation requirements.
During the production process, the battery is filled with electrolyte through six holes on the cover, and then a pressure relief valve made of non - combustible materials is installed. This design not only enables maintenance - free operation without the need for users to replenish water, but also is equipped with explosion - proof filters and flame arresters, ensuring a high level of fire and explosion safety. The battery adopts the absorbent glass fiber separator technology, realizing efficient gas recombination. At the same time, it has an extremely low self - discharge rate, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, effectively extending the storage life.
In terms of performance, BPL95 - 12 has a nominal capacity of 95Ah at the 20 - hour rate, 80.8Ah at the 5 - hour rate, and 47.5Ah at the 30 - minute rate, which makes it particularly suitable for applications that require a backup time of 30 minutes or longer, as recommended. The dimensions of the battery are 329 mm in length (12.95 inches) and 172 mm in width (6.77 inches), height 215 mm (8.46 inches), total height 238 mm (9.37 inches), weight approximately 33.2 kg (73.2 lbs). Its compact design and carrying handle facilitate installation, and it can be safely installed in horizontal and vertical directions, but inversion is prohibited.
According to Eurobat standards, BPL series batteries have an expected service life of up to 12 years under normal operating conditions, making them long-life batteries. Their capacity ranges from 3.3 to 210Ah, meeting diverse power requirements.
BPL95-12 and its series counterparts are ideal power sources for low-power uninterruptible power supplies, fire and safety alarm systems, emergency lighting and monitoring systems, access control systems, and various medical equipment. They are also widely used in power supply networks, the power industry, mining, oil and gas, telecommunication facilities, rural estates, hotel, catering, and store equipment, as well as renewable energy sectors such as solar and wind energy systems. Additionally, they can serve as a reliable power source for equipment like electric vehicles and golf carts.
